To MS-DOS 6.0/DoubleSpace Users, My name is Bill Golden. I am a Certified Public Accountant in Roswell, New Mexico. I have been retained to gather information about users who may have experienced problems in implementing and using MS-DOS 6.0 with DoubleSpace. The information gathered is to be used, if warranted, as the basis for a class-action lawsuit against Microsoft Corp. If you encountered major problems and/or data loss in your implementa- tion of MS-DOS 6.0 and DoubleSpace, we want to hear from you, even if you eventually resolved the error/problem by removing DoubleSpace. It is not my intent to determine the extent or nature of technical deficiencies of MS-DOS 6.0/DoubleSpace, if any. I have reviewed documen- tation where Microsoft offered one DoubleSpace user $5,000 of Microsoft product in exchange for his releasing Microsoft of any responsibility with problems encountered in his implementation of DoubleSpace. Microsoft may have offered similar settlements to one or more users. If you were offered AND ACCEPTED any settlement with Microsoft regarding prob- lems with MS-DOS 6.0 and DoubleSpace, you should not respond to this survey. You may respond to the survey by E-Mail on Prodigy (FTNE57A), on Compu- Serve (70363,114) or respond in writing to: Wm. R. Golden, CPA 1200 West Third Street Roswell, NM 88201 If you prefer, you may fax me at 505/623-2333. Please feel free to post this file on your local bulletin board.
